Mumford cove is a private community located within the boarders of Groton on long Island Sound. It independently maintains and its roads, beaches, tennis courts, docks and playgrounds which, are all closed to the public. Home owners are mostly year round residence and homes tend to be larger then some of the neighboring beach towns. There are a number of private docks that residences can purchase or rent.
Mumford Cove Real Estate is a small neighborhood that offers a quiet year round waterfront community. Several inlets stretch the coastline making space for more docks. A white sand beach is available along with tennis courts for its residence. The Mumford Cove association has strict rules on size and proportion of houses that are build in the cove to protect its current residence. Most of the land has already been developed so new homes will be limited. There are no Condominiums located in Mumford Cove and limited rentals.

What style are you looking for, Ranch, Townhouse, Colonial, Converted building, etc. Be careful when you ask for a new building in south east CT because some very nice condos have been made out of historic buildings. They may be only a few years old, but the age will still say their original building date.
