We would like to congratulate the residents for another successful Family Night in Groton Long Point CT. This is a yearly event focusing on family fun. It took place on Saturday night, July 16th 2016, behind south beach on the greens by the tennis courts and playground. There was a section for toddlers called “the toddler zone” that featured age specific activities for their safety. There were lots of physical activities where children had the opportunity to climb the rock wall, knock over their friends with the wrecking ball, run the bungee line, dunk a staffer, and get stuck to the Velcro wall.
Everyone could partake in face painting, cookie decorating (yum!), tattoos, and hair spray. The food was terrific featuring wood oven pizza from The Bridge Market, Frogeez frozen yogurt, and hamburgers and hot dogs from the casino. The adults had a great time under the tent partying it up and chasing the little ones around.
