13 Gravel Street Mystic – Open House: Saturday, June 17th from 11-1:00

Lovely antique home on Mystic’s historic “Captain’s Row” with outstanding waterfront views and a dock across the street. 5 bedrooms/4 baths. Beautiful master suite was added in the 80’s and is with keeping the historic feel of the home. The street level can easily be used as a guest suite or even in-law with it’s own bath, fireplace, living room and bedroom. The home has a large back yard and parking area that can easily accommodate a garage. Built in 1836, this home was originally owned by John Fellows and later became the residence of 2 Captains Eldridge both of whom went to sea in various capacities. George Eldridge Jr (son of George Sr of 2 Eldridge) was the first captain of the Shoreline Ferry that connected Groton and New London. Later, the job was held by his son. No better place to watch all the waterfront activities and just a minute’s walk to downtown Mystic with it’s restaurants and shops.
